Dr. Sanjeev Goel, M.D., Founder of Peak Human, Introduces Two Free Digital Tools for Personalized Nutrition Tracking and Physician-Guided Care

TORONTO, Sept. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dr. Sanjeev Goel, M.D., Founder and CEO of Peak Human, is expanding the company’s approach to personalized health management with two free digital tools designed to help individuals better understand their nutrition and stay connected to physician-guided health protocols.

Peak Nutrition and Network Intelligent Guided Care features are designed to bring more structure and visibility to everyday health behaviors. Rather than relying solely on generic recommendations, the tools are built around personal health information, physician guidance, and ongoing tracking.

For more than 20 years, Dr. Sanjeev Goel, M.D., worked as a family physician. Today, he leads Peak Human’s precision-longevity practice, where diagnostics, personalized protocols, and physician-led care are brought together as part of an ongoing approach to health management.

“Health recommendations are most useful when people can understand how they relate to their own data and daily habits,” said Dr. Goel. “These tools are designed to make that process more practical by connecting what people do every day with the information that can help guide their care.”

Nutrition Tracking Built Around Individual Data

Peak Nutrition provides free nutrition tracking with more than 7,000 built-in foods, barcode scanning, and AI-powered photo analysis. Users can search for foods, scan products, or take a photo of a meal, with portions adjustable down to 0.01 of a serving.

The platform also includes foods from Health Canada’s Canadian Nutrient File alongside more than 1,000 South Asian dishes from the Indian Nutrient Databank. This includes familiar serving descriptions such as “1 dosa” and “1 bowl,” helping users record foods in ways that reflect how they are commonly consumed.

For Peak Human members, nutrition targets can incorporate individual laboratory data. HbA1c, fasting glucose, fasting insulin, and ApoB from a user’s Peak Human record can be used to inform carbohydrate targets and diet-pattern guidance. The relevant information is displayed to the user rather than being applied without visibility.

Peak Nutrition can also feed daily nutrition summaries into the Peak Human Score, helping incorporate dietary patterns into the metabolic and gut domains of the platform.

The app is free to use, with no subscription or additional cost, including for people who are not Peak Human members.

Bringing Physician Guidance Into Daily Health Habits

The second tool, the Network Intelligent Guided Care feature, focuses on the relationship between individuals and their physicians. The platform allows a physician to create a personalized protocol covering supplements, medications, and health habits, while giving users a way to track adherence and report relevant experiences.

The process begins with a short well-being assessment before a physician can request access to care information. Users must approve that access before information is shared.

Once connected, a physician can build a visible protocol with schedules and instructions. Users can then log whether they are following the protocol, report side effects, and maintain streaks that make adherence easier to monitor over time.

The system is designed around consent. Users explicitly approve care access and can withdraw that access through the platform. Clinical data access is logged in accordance with PHIPA record-keeping requirements, while assessment responses are presented only in aggregate rather than individually.

The platform can also incorporate data from compatible wearables, including Oura and Whoop, to provide additional context around an individual’s health behaviors and routines.

Together, the two tools reflect Peak Human’s broader approach to combining personal health data with practical day-to-day actions. Peak Nutrition focuses on understanding what a person eats, while Guided Care provides a framework for following a physician-developed protocol and communicating relevant information back to the care team.

Both tools are available for free through https://peakhuman.ai/
